OUR STORY
Mary Saspa is the Owner of FilCan Star Services, Inc. She came to Calgary in 2009, bringing with her more than twenty (20) years of management experience. She has completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and her Master’s Degree in Public Administration. She got tired of working for someone, so she decided to build a company of her own utilizing the innate culture/nature of Filipinos – to provide domestic services to Canadians.

We are a brand new company, however our team is very skilled (with 10 to 15 years of experience) in providing all the services we offer.

Aside from delivering what we promise, we are dedicated, passionate and hardworking. Our employees have health benefits, WCB coverage and liability insurance.

We can do both ways but we always bring our own products.
What inspired you to start your own business?
This pandemic affected our livelihood. Finding a job is a big struggle, so creating a company like this not only help the economy thrive, but also provide employment to the unemployed.
Can you provide your service online or remotely?
No, we only provide in-person service because of the nature of our jobs and services.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Our employees will be entering your home fully vaccinated, with face masks, gloves and will maintain a 4 to 6-meter distancing to avoid any contamination, etc.
